What attracted dayever to these anime?

01. Hunter X Hunter

Maybe it was my first japanese dubbed anime, I held special love for it. Alongside with its various monsters and this special jobclass for humans called Hunters, it promises lots of adventures. What I am really partial to is the character’s growth process, so I really love the Hunter test, Sky Tower and the Greed Island training part with Biskuit. Of course, the twisted Hisoka and cool assassin Killua added lots of points to my eye-candy bonuses.

02. One Piece

I actually put off watching this because of the art. I wasn’t used to long limbs. But One Piece is totally great! Though not too much emphasis on characters’ growth, it’s more on the friendship bonding and mentality. Lots of adventures and action, with tear-jerking moments, epic moments, and humor. I like Sanji for his gentlemanly aspects and love for cooking, Zoro for his awesome sword skills and his sense of direction, and Luffy… for his voice?

EYE CANDIES. ’nuff said. This is really bias.
