of a short update before hitting the SNOOZE button

The weather’s getting me down, dragging me by the feet off to bed.

It’s humid to the point of double ugh on my list. Imagine, you come out from shower smelling all nice and clean. You stand in front of the mirror toweling dry your hair and combing it out…the next thing you know (no, not the shocking amount of hair on the floor), you’re all damp with perspiration again! This is… crazy.

Speaking of hair, please help me keep a lookout for the following. I love the smell!

I’m not too sure if it works or not, but I bought it because of the smell.

Our Saturaday Performance after-aftermath

It was… so black! I mean, so many people wearing black! How many people were playing that day? 42? That’s like more than half of our usual numbers!

Seemed like we snared a couple more regular members

We’re improving. I think.

At the price of fun.

We’re still having fun. But it now comes with responsibility.

Went to collect my JLPT 4 cert before the deadline’s up. ‘Pretty-please’ Amber along because she so much more street wise than me.

Well, afterall, I got lost in Bedok.

The following is strictly my opinion only.

 By the way, saw the advertisement for “U are the one” on TV. Contestant 6, Louis Fong, reminds me of Nagayama Takashi (blog link at the right column).
Of course, Nagayan is fairer, less built and older.

However, behavior wise… really seemed alike.

Sometimes, Nagayan exhibits this hyper behavior which is a lot more hyper of his usual cheeky self. It made him seems weird, too eager to please, ended up leaving the audience cold. I caught the last half an hour of Monday’s (31 March) show, featuring this 45 seconds Q&A session.

 Tell the truth, I was waiting for his turn to check out how he fare (since he reminded me of Nagayan). To my (horror) “insert-an-adj-here”, he flung his arms around the hosts (Quan Yifeng and Kym Ng), said some comment and ended with a “woohoo”.

It’s too much, too fast. Seemed like he’s trying too hard.

Of all the 8 male contestants, … Nagayan still wins
Caleb stood out though, probably because he’s so fair (and Japanese-looking).

CO practice seemed longer than usual, more tense, serious yet more of a proper orchestra feeling. Good old Amber rushed down for practice even though she was tired after her work at the airshow. Although it was a pity that there weren’t scores for the percussion and that Yvonne and Amber couldn’t learn how to play the sheng yet.

It’s fate. You got to admit it. We all thought he won’t be making an appearance, but ta-dah! And after that our supper, on our way home, TA-DAH!
